Renée Barron is an Emmy Award winning television series and documentary film editor. She weaves landscapes, characters and narratives into captivating, authentic stories.  Having cut on over 90 episodes of television including multiple documentary series, her credits include shows broadcasted and streamed on Amazon, Netflix, NBC, PBS, ViceLand, ESPN, A&E, TLC, Fox and more. In 2020 She made her 1st directorial debut on “Rock Camp: the Movie.”

Additionally, she is a tenacious self-starter, always taking the initiative to find ways to contribute to the assignment and team, doing whatever it takes to elevate the project at hand.  

Renée's experience traveling for 5 years in over eight countries right after graduating from Santa Monica High School, informs her passion for exploration and learning which she brings to her work as a storyteller.

Fun fact: She taught herself the Avid from the manual in 1999.
